Picking a Youth Hockey Camp: Advice for Parents

Angela Ruggiero, US Women's National Hockey Team member and four-time Olympic medalist, offers the following advice to parents on youth hockey camps:

  • look for camps that supplement your child's training for the upcoming season, not glorified day care
  • no more than 1 to 2 camps per summer (kids need time off from hockey).
