Jet Ski: used for a small motorized usually recreational watercraft
Jet skis are a fast way to have fun in oceans and lakes. However, they can be quite hazardous the proper protective precautions are not taken. If your children are riding jet skis, they MUST wear protective clothing; especially, and most specifically, a reliable life jacket. Your children must be responsible and keep away from other vehicles in the water to avoid crashing.
MomsTeam's goal is to provide comprehensive information on jet skiing: advice on the equipment needed and how to buy it, a primer on the rules of the sport, and videos and advice from experts, parents, and manufacturers of jetskiing gear.
But to do that we are going to need your help. If you are a parent of a child who jet skies or has jet skied, we hope you will share what you have learned with other MomsTeam parents. Please consider writing a blog, contributing an article, posting on and/or hosting a Forum, or becoming a jet skiing expert. If you know of someone who used to jet ski or coach jet skiing who has knowledge to share, ask him or her to join. Together we can make MomsTeam a true community of sports parents!
