Water Polo

Water Polo: a goal game similar to soccer that is played in water by teams of swimmers using a ball resembling a soccer ball

Water Polo is a team based water sport made up of six players and one goalkeeper with the object being to score the most goals. This sport requires excellent swimming, ball handling skills, ability to tread water, and mental preparation. This is a fun sport both recreationally and competitively at collegiate and professional levels.

MomsTeam's goal is to provide comprehensive information on water polo: advice on the equipment needed and how to buy it, a primer on the rules of the sport, and videos and advice from experts, parents, and manufacturers of water polo gear.

But to do that we are going to need your help. If you are a parent of a child who plays or has played water polo, we hope you will share what you have learned with other MomsTeam parents. Please consider writing a blog, contributing an article, posting on and/or hosting a Forum, or becoming a water polo expert. If you know of someone who used to play or coach water polo who has knowledge to share, ask him or her to join. Together we can make MomsTeam a true community of sports parents!
